Eat the alligator before it eats you!

On May 29, 2026, I had the Blackened Gator Tacos from the original Drago's at Metairie, Louisiana. The tacos had arugula, pico de gallo, Cajun aioli, lime juice, and of course, blackened alligator. This was my first time ever to eat alligator whatsoever, and it was an amazing experience. The Blackened Gator Tacos were cooked to perfection, and each topping on the tacos contributed to that. The Blackened Gator Tacos were absolutely filled with flavor, and the alligator had great texture. I would rate this meal with 5 out of 5 stars.
